Despite my best efforts to the contrary, I have recently managed to be pulled into political discussion during this election season. This article was recently shared in the course of those discussions:
The analogy put forth in the article (which is fairly clear from the title) is that voting for a third party candidate in the coming presidential election is about as useless as sending “thoughts and prayers” to the families of mass shooting victims.Let’s lay aside for a moment for a moment the thought that prayer is equated with doing nothing in the face of tragedy.
